OVERVIEW

The Overview tab is designed to provide the user with a quick glance of outstanding actions for sites in which they are associated.  Once you have associated your RCRAInfo account with at least one site, this will be the default page displayed when you log into the RCRAInfo Industry Application.  The Overview tab does NOT replace the My Sites tab.  At anytime you can click the My Sites tab to see all of your sites as well as request additional sites.  The Overview tab shows the Outstanding Actions on the left portion of the page and System Announcements on the right-hand portion of the page.  The System Announcements are used to alert the user community to application updates, planned system outages, and other information as appropriate.    

The Outstanding Actions on the Overview tab are categorized within the module to which the action pertains:  myRCRAid, Biennial Report, Annual Report, e-Manifest, and WIETS.  You will see ALL of the actions associated with a site, even if you do not have permissions for the module for which the action pertains.  This provides you the opportunity to oversee all actions outstanding at your site(s) and to contact appropriate colleagues if actions remain unaddressed.  The number of actions associated with each module is shown in the green badge next to the module name. 

If you have the proper permissions for the module to take the action noted, click the Site Name (or in the case of WIETS - Notice ID) to go to the portion of the application where you can act, if appropriate, on the outstanding action identified.

Note:  Even though the Overview tab attempts to capture outstanding actions associated with your sites, it is your responsibility to ensure that all regulatory actions and deadlines are satisfied, regardless of whether a site and/or action appears on this tab.

Actions captured in the Overview tab are provided here.

MYRCRAID

The myRCRAid Overview tab displays the Site ID, Site Name, Most Recent Updated Date, and Action Item for myRCRAid submissions that meet one of the following criteria:

• Submissions that are in the draft status
• Submissions that are ready for a signature 
• Submissions that have been rejected by your regulatory authority and have not been re-submitted

Note:  If any of the actions above pertain to the request for a new site id, the site id will show as "Not Yet Assigned".

BIENNIAL REPORT

The Biennial Report Overview tab displays the Site ID, Site Name, Most Recent Updated Date, and Action Item for Biennial Report submissions associated with the current Biennial Report cycle that meet one of the following criteria:

• Submissions that are in the draft status
• Submissions that are ready for a signature
• Submissions that have been rejected by your regulatory authority and have not been re-submitted
• Sites that your regulatory authority has identified as requiring a Biennial Report for which you have not submitted.  These sites will appear as an action of "Awaiting Submission"

Regulatory authorities have the ability to create a Biennial Report baseline checklist to identify sites that are required to submit a Biennial Report and track each site's progress within the Biennial Report cycle.  Users submitting their Biennial Report via the RCRAInfo Industry Application CANNOT submit their Biennial Report until January 1 of an even-numbered year.  Once your regulatory authority has put your site on the baseline checklist for the current Biennial Report cycle, that site will appear on the Biennial Report Overview tab until you submit your Biennial Report, even if you are not currently able to submit the Biennial Report.  This action is included on the Overview tab so that you can be aware of upcoming regulatory requirements that you must fulfill and to plan accordingly. 

ANNUAL REPORT

The Annual Report Overview tab displays the Site ID, Site Name, Most Recent Updated Date, and Action Item for Annual Report submissions associated with the current Annual Report cycle that meet one of the following criteria:

• Submissions that are in the draft status
• Submissions that are ready for a signature
• Submissions that have been rejected by your regulatory authority and have not been re-submitted
• Sites that your regulatory authority has identified as required to submit an Annual Report for which you have not submitted.  These sites will appear as an action of "Awaiting Submission"

Note:  Annual Report submissions are NOT a national requirement, therefore, this tab will only pertain to sites located in States that require the submission of an Annual Report.

E-MANIFEST

The e-Manifest Overview tab displays the Site ID, Site Name, Most Recent Updated Date, and Action Item for e-Manifest submissions.  The actions provided on this tab are divided into four categories.

A site will be listed here if the site has one or more manifests that are awaiting a signature from your site.  Your site may be any party to the manifest including the generator, transporter, designated facility, and/or alternate designated facility.

A site will be listed here if the site has one or more manifests under correction that are awaiting a signature from your site.  Your site may be any party to the manifest including the generator, transporter, designated facility, and/or alternate designated facility.

A site will be listed here if the site has one or more manifests where the regulator has requested that a correction be made to a manifest in which your site is party to.  Your site may be any party to the manifest including the generator, transporter, designated facility, and/or alternate designated facility.

A site will be listed here if the site has one or more past due invoices for manifest fees.  This list pertains only to designated facilities.

WIETS

The WIETS Overview tab displays the Site ID, Site Name, Notice ID*, Most Recent Updated Date, and Action Item for WIETS submissions.  The actions provided on this tab are divided into two categories.

A notice will be listed here if it meets one of the following criteria:

• Notices that are in the draft status
• Notices that are ready for a signature
• Notices that have been rejected by EPA and have not been re-submitted

A site will be listed here if it meets one of the following criteria:

• Annual Report submissions that are in the draft status
• Annual Report submissions that are ready for a signature
• Annual Report submissions that have been rejected by EPA and have not been re-submitted
• Sites that EPA has identified as requiring an Annual Report for which you have not submitted.  These sites will appear as an action of "Awaiting Submission"
